Yvette Rock is the founder and CEO of Live Coal Gallery, LLC - a Detroit-based small business that collects, curates, exhibits, and sells contemporary works of art. LCG also provides consultation and commissioned services centered around art-making, art practices, art education, and the art ecosystem. We provide these services for individual artists, businesses, non-profit organizations, and other interested groups.

As a professional practicing artist since 1999, Yvette Rock has had years of experience thinking about her own practice and finding ways to talk about it, write about it, and share it. She would love to work with you to help you shape the vision you have for your creative practice. She specializes in working with visual arts, but is open to consulting with others who engage in the arts.

Live Coal Gallery has curated nine years of art exhibitions in the Detroit area. We have organized solo, small group, and large group shows. We have a wide range of artists from the Metro-Detroit area who have exhibited with us. Our primary focus is to exhibit the work of members of the Live Coal Collective.
